Experience the crunch of Crispy Buffalo Chicken! Juicy chicken coated in seasoned flour and panko, baked to golden perfection.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (plus extra for serving)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. Step 2: In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the eggs. Place the breadcrumbs in a third dish.
  3. Step 3: Cut the chicken breasts into strips or bite-sized pieces. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, followed by coating it in breadcrumbs until well covered.
  4. Step 4: Arrange the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Spray them lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with a little oil to help achieve a crispy texture.
  5. Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. During the last few minutes of baking, brush each piece generously with buffalo sauce.
  6. Step 6: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with additional buffalo sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your crispy buffalo chicken!

Notes

  • For optimal freshness, store leftover crispy buffalo chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat and maintain that delightful crispiness, place the chicken on a baking sheet and warm it in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve your crispy buffalo chicken with celery sticks and a side of creamy ranch or blue cheese dressing to balance the heat and add a refreshing crunch.
  • For extra flavor, let the coated chicken pieces sit for about 15 minutes before baking; this helps the breading adhere better and results in an even crispier texture.
